Kovacik Dental Centre

Dr. Allan Kovacik- B.Sc.- B.Comm. – DDS. 27 years in the field.

I am a native Calgarian who has lived most of my life in Calgary. I attended the University of Alberta and graduated in the spring of 1978 from the Faculty of Commerce, and then graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in 1982. I have practiced in the Brentwood/Charleswood areas since graduation. The move to our present location was made in the spring of 1995. My areas of particular interest are restorative and cosmetic Dentistry.

In my off hours, our family(wife Joan, and four Boys- aged 16-24) enjoy a wide variety of sports, which include golf , snow skiing, water skiing, badminton, cycling and swimming.

Dr. Craig Kirker B.Sc.- DDS.- CMAcp - 27 years in the field

I am a native Calgarian as well, and graduated along with Dr. Allan in the spring of 1982 from the faculty of Dentistry- University of Alberta. I practiced in Fernie B.C. for two years before relocating back to Calgary, where I practiced downtown until 1999. I am trained in numerous complementary medicine approaches and biological dental techniques, receiving a Certificate in Medical Acupuncture from the U of Alberta in 1997.

Dr. Joni Landry B.Ed DDS. – 2 years in the field

I am a native Calgarian, and the most recent addition to the team of dentists at Kovacik Dental Centre. I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Alberta in 2007 and I have been practicing with Dr. Allan ever since. My special interests in dentistry include restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign, as well as dental care for children. I also hold a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta in Elementary Education and take great pride is making your child’s dental experience a positive one.

2007 was a big year for me, as I had graduated from Dental School in the spring, started my career with Dr. Allan in the summer, and was married to my husband Patrick in the fall.
